Bob and Todd Lee with "Thunder
Shifter", a real 32 five window. "Thunder Shifter"
was a NHRA US Nationals winner in the 60's and is largely the same
today as it was back then. Today Bob runs the car at nostalgia
events around the country.
Bob is the owner of Bob's Speed
Products, a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida speed shop that has been in business
at the same location for over 30 years. Both Bob and Todd are also
long time SCCA drivers with numerous championships between them.
"Thunder Shifter" runs a
Hilborn injected 327 small block Chevy, a Muncie 4 speed with one of
our RTR custom shift knobs on the Hurst shifter and a '58 Olds rear
end putting the power to the ground. Check out the Vertex mag, the
home made headers and the Corvair box.
